Although Crest Constructions was founded as a separate entity in 1982, the VST Group has a long history in the construction sector. In the 1930s and 1940s, the Group took up a number of prestigious contracts with the British Army including the runway for a Military Base near Coimbatore.
From the 1980s onwards, Crest Constructions has undertaken a variety of industrial projects across south India. The company pioneered the use of the vacuum de-watered concrete flooring system in India.
