Founded in 1949, VST Motors is one of India's leading Tata Motors Commercial and Passenger vehicle dealers. The business' first showroom on Mount Road in Chennai was acquired by V.S. Thiruvengadasamy Mudaliar in 1942, anticipating a possible extension of the family's business interests into Tamil Nadu. The directors of the new company were Mr. Mudaliar's sons and this business would prove to become a mainstay of the Group as the automobile sector in India saw unprecedented growth nearly half a century after inception.
VST Motors initially dealt with Austin and Studebaker automobiles; as the years progressed, the current tie-ups with industry leader Tata Motors. The company has extended its network to keep up with market growth, with main outlets for commercial vehicles at Chennai, Trichy, Cuddalore, Vellore and Salem. Each main location has a full fledged set up for sales and service with multiple workshops in many locations. Covering half the state of Tamil Nadu.
